You really need to include instructions for Mac OS X. I have tried to follow your instructions to the letter, and no dice. I am running CS4 on Snow Leopard. Please advise, as I can't relinquish my info to have you do it and I need this player up and working.

@irockez: don't have a specific software to suggest in mind but a php algorithm can see the videos and generate the playlist... but the playlist has the video description... how you want to generate that?!

@irockez: don't know the exact location on OSX, but try your local search tool and look for "stage.as" in your computer, you must modify both stage.as files that are found.

wordpress integration... hmm, have not tried that before! have not tried creating any plug-in for the wordpress before neither!

@Sagar: the attribute "length" in the xml is for show case only and does not get involved in flv real length at all.

as a matter of fact, the player understands the length of the video directly from the FLV file and if it can't understand that, the first reason I can think of is that your FLV is not encoded properly!

my suggestion would be the free FLV convertor called "Riva FLV Encoder". I've been using it for years now and is a great tool for creating correct flv files.

I'm integrating the video player in one of my client's site which has to be pushed live today itself. We are facing an issue where the video flv files durations aren't showing up in the video player properly and it always remains 0:00. The player seek doesn't move, which again is because of the fact that it's not able to determine the duration (length) of the video files. We are passing the length information properly. Tried setting the embed attribute to both true and false. Tried to send length as 55, 55 sec and 55sec, none of these helped.

It seems it shows the duration of .mov files properly but not for .flv files.

Kindly advise what could be the fix for this as early as you can. Thanks in advance.
